Message’s From
Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire teaching community on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2024!
Today, as we celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan extends its deepest gratitude and respect to all educators.
Mrs Shahida Parveen
Deputy Commissioner
Heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all on the auspicious occasion of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Foundation Day. As we celebrate the glorious Diamond Jubilee of our prestigious organization, it fills us with immense joy, enthusiasm, and pride to reflect upon the remarkable journey we have undertaken together. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the pivotal role this esteemed organization plays in fostering national unity, humanity, and prosperity through the power of education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to nurturing the holistic development of students, ensuring a uniform curriculum and educational standards across all its schools throughout India. The 69 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Mumbai Region uphold this commitment by placing a strong emphasis on imparting life skills and fostering harmony through child-centric learning activities. At KVS, our motto is: “Hiranmayen Patren Satyasyapihitam Mukham Tat Tvam Pushannapavrunu Satyadharmay Drishtaye.” Pupils must therefore acquire the knowledge and perspective necessary to overcome the allure of falsity and embrace Satyam Shivam Sundaram through the transformative power of education. As education continually evolves, KVS remains committed to adapting to change. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are currently implementing the New Education Policy-2020, a policy for the revitalization of India in the global context. It aligns with the needs of the times, society, and national culture. In addition to academic pursuits, activities such as sports, music, art, and dance are integral parts of Kendriya Vidyalayas’ curriculum. Utilizing our resources and the dedication of our teachers and staff, students are offered numerous platforms to shape their futures. As we embark on this journey forward, let us reaffirm our commitment to nurturing the next generation of responsible, compassionate, and empowered citizens. Together, let us continue to strive for excellence and contribute towards building a brighter future for our nation. With best wishes, Shahida Parveen

“Education is the manifestation of perfection already in Man”, said by Swami Vivekananda. I am very glad to say that in our Vidyalaya concerted efforts are being constantly put in by one and all to mold each and every child into a wholesome human being and a good Citizen of our beloved Nation. To nourish the children and imparted a sound mind in a sound body. The Vidyalaya and the KVS as a whole has been diligently striving to produce dynamic citizens, who will be quite successful in their future endeavor. Children are not coming for mere informed but transformed. Let’s all join our hands together and help in building our nation with powerful human capital of the world of sterling character. The Vidyalaya and the KVS envisions a robust, vibrant and holistic school education that will engender excellence in every sphere of human endeavor. The Vidyalaya is committed to provide quality education to promote intellectual, social and cultural vivacity among its learners. “Education is the transformation of culture from one generation to another”. As a school, Kendriya Vidyalaya, strives to inculcate the same ethos of inquiry to reinforce learning. At the same time its policies and programmes find an echo in the philosophy of J. Krishnmurthy which considers a school as “a place where one learns about the totality, the wholeness of life. Academic excellence is absolutely necessary, but a school includes much more than that. It is a place where both the teacher and the student explore, not only the outer world, the world of knowledge, but also their own thinking, their own behavior.”
